Diese wundervollen Hunde, die als Urahnen der Airedales vor vielen Jahren mein Interesse weckten, sind in ihrem Bestand bedroht. Weltweit vermutet man noch 800 Hunde. Früher in der Meute zur Otterjagd verwendet, werden sie heute als sportliche Kameraden und im Suchdienst geschätzt Meine erste Otterhündin -" Jula" Houndville Artemis (2006-2020) kam als Welpe mit 9 Wochen zu mir. Sie bereicherte unser Rudel bestehend aus einer Neufundländerhündin, einer Airedalehündin und einer Katze nachhaltig. Ihr Sohn "Otto" - Houndville Chopin (2010-2021) blieb bei uns und hat mit zwei Würfen in Deutschland und USA erfolgreich zur Erhaltung dieser liebenswerten Otterhounds beigetragen. Aktuell lebt "Greta" - Houndville Geraldine, mit Dackelhündin Phryne, 6 Hühnern und einem Pony bei uns. Sie erfüllt alle Voraussetzungen für eine hervorragende Zuchthündin. Wir leben direkt am Rhein in RheinlandPfalz. Rauhaardackelhündin Phryne ist dackeltypisch der Meinung, das Sagen zu haben, was einer rudelerprobten Otterhündin keinerlei Probleme macht, weiss sie doch, wer die wirkliche Chefin ist.
